I must have been dreaming puppies, cause they're blooming all over the place!
Bad news on Cowboy, he climbed over the playpen. Not once, but twice. I caught him mid climb with his little paws in the grooves. He was happy as a clam going up the side to escape. One thing about Cowboy, he escapes to be with you.
Yippee escapes to get lincoln logs to retrieve for you.
Yip is still, and will be for a long time, on 100% food recall. 5 or 6 pieces of food while I am telling her "good Come"! Probably will do that with Cowboy too.
The older dogs are spending time teaching him how to respect his elders, and I butt out.
Stella splits him from the other dogs all the time. It is so interesting to watch the calming signals. She also will correct him, muzzle correction, when he gets too close to things that are not dog allowed. Why didn't she do that with Yip and the table? Oh I forgot that Stella chewed a bit on it too.
I love the name Cowboy. So cowboyish, along with Yippee. I sound like a rodeo announcer.
At the moment all things are quiet, Cowboy is now in a crate for a nap and Yip is in the playpen.
I worked with Cowboy on down and a release word, plus a target plate. Yip was worked on stand and stacking.
